1. About TeenFin and these terms
These Terms of Use govern the TeenFin app and website, operated by Teen Fin and currently offered in India. They should be read with the Privacy Policy and Subscriptions & Refunds Policy.
Operator: Teen Fin, operating TeenFin in India.
Registered address:
Support and privacy enquiries: hello@teenfin.org
An adult using TeenFin accepts these terms for their own use. For a user under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must authorise the child’s use and agree to these terms on the child’s behalf. A child is not being asked to enter into an independent paid contract.
2. Education and virtual points
TeenFin provides lessons, quizzes, games, challenges and rewards to help people learn about money. The Investment Arena is a virtual learning experience using TeenFin Points.
TeenFin Points and simulated investments are for learning. They are not money, deposits, securities or a payment instrument, cannot be redeemed for cash, and do not create ownership of real assets. Subscription fees pay for learning access, not for a real-money investment.
Content and simulations are general education, not personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Simulated results do not predict investment performance. TeenFin does not promise profits, exam results or a particular financial outcome. A completion certificate records learning within TeenFin; it is not a professional qualification or regulatory licence.
3. Accounts, age and guardians
You can sign in using Google or email and password. Provide accurate account information and age. TeenFin asks for age, not date of birth. Keep sign-in details private and tell support if you suspect misuse.
Under-18 users need parental or lawful guardian consent. A parent or guardian must approve any paid subscription for them and authorise the payment arrangement. Permission to use the app does not, by itself, authorise a recurring payment.
Parents should help children understand lessons and virtual spending and should review the plan, price and renewal terms before approving a purchase. Do not use someone else’s account or payment method without permission.
4. Learning access and subscriptions
The Free plan includes Levels 1–2 and Investment Challenge 1. Paid plans unlock the content described on the Plans page. Paid access lasts for the selected plan period.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the stated billing period unless cancelled. Recurring charges require the payer’s authorisation. See the Subscriptions & Refunds Policy for prices, plan requirements, cancellation and duplicate-charge refunds.
Virtual progress does not extend a paid access period. The ₹599 Pro Upgrade requires Subscription 2 access and is tied to that plan’s duration; it is not a separate purchase of Subscription 2.
5. Acceptable use and content
You may use TeenFin for personal learning and, where authorised, supervised educational activities. TeenFin’s content, artwork, brand and software remain the property of Teen Fin or their respective owners. You receive permission to use the service; ownership is not transferred.
- Do not copy, sell or redistribute lessons, artwork or other protected material without permission, except where the law allows.
- Do not cheat, manipulate points, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with other users or the service.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive or misleading material, or use the service to collect another person’s information without authority.
- Do not bypass access controls or use another person’s identity or payment details.
Contact support for permission to reproduce material or arrange school use beyond ordinary access.
6. Service changes and account restrictions
Content and features may be corrected or updated, and access can be interrupted by maintenance, network failures or events outside our reasonable control. We will not use a routine update to remove statutory rights or avoid supplying an agreed paid service.
Access may be restricted where reasonably needed to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and how to contact us to resolve it. A restriction does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law.
Third-party sign-in, payment and distribution services have their own terms. Downloading TeenFin through Google Play does not mean that Google Play bills a Razorpay subscription.
7. Responsibility and consumer rights
You are responsible for using lessons as education and obtaining suitable advice before making real financial decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, but remain responsible for duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, or restricts rights and remedies that Indian consumer or other applicable law does not allow us to exclude. No blanket waiver of consumer claims is required to use TeenFin.
8. Ending use and resolving concerns
You may stop using TeenFin, cancel renewal, or request account deletion. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Deletion requests are handled through hello@teenfin.org; see the Account Deletion page.
For service, billing or privacy concerns, contact hello@teenfin.org. Include the account email and a short description, without passwords or complete payment credentials. Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month of receipt, in accordance with applicable requirements.
These terms are governed by Indian law. You may approach a competent court, consumer commission or other authority as permitted by law; these terms do not impose an exclusive city or remove a statutory complaint route.
Revised terms will show a new date and version. Material changes will be notified as required and will not retroactively alter an already completed purchase or remove accrued rights.
